Demand Generation at Help Scout

Demand Generation is new to Help Scout, so we’re looking to you to help us build it. That probably means you’ve done this before, and you’re ready to hit the ground running.

When you join the team, you’ll have ownership and autonomy from day one. That means it’s a leadership role, even if doesn't come with a typical leadership title like “Senior” or Director" (we try to avoid a lot of hierarchy here, and focus on doing great work).

You’d be working with me to broaden our audience with our first-ever demand gen strategy, and building out an integrated marketing campaigns calendar. We have the technology and marketing stack ready to go, along with a successful product that’s already loved by more than 9,000 paying customers, and a sales team that’s 100% aligned with putting the customer first.

In the early days, success means building relationships with strategic partners that can help us reach new industries, running a few campaigns, doing a lot of testing, and let’s be honest, probably a little bit of failure. I expect we’ll throw a lot of spaghetti against the wall to see what sticks, and learn a lot in the process.
